Vehicle Wrap Applications in Manchester

At Wrapvehicles.co.uk we have several years of experience within the vehicle wrapping industry, this means we know what wrap films work and what wrap film don’t. We currently offer wraps using vehicle wrap vinyls from the following manufacturers:

Each wrap vinyl manufacturer recommends slightly different application techniques therefore we ensure that all of our vehicle wrap technicians have been trained by at least one of the main manufacturers and are in regular contact with our suppliers to discuss fitment procedures for each product to ensure a quality fit & finish every time.

The time it requires to complete a full vehicle wrap depends on the vehicle however we follow the same procedure for each vehicle every time. The procedure is as follows:

Part 1

Receive the vehicle from the customer & ensure it has had a basic clean beforehand.

Part2

Drive the vehicle into our fitting unit and begin the removal of any trim or parts that will cause issues with the wrap fitment process (lights, rubbers, door handles, etc)

Part 3

Begin to clean all areas that the vehicle wrap vinyl will be applied to using the wrap vinyl manufacturers specified solutions.

Part 4

Allow the vehicles body panels to raise up to the wrap vinyl manufacturers recommended application temperature.

Part 5

Begin wrapping the vehicle a section at a time, ensuring that each section is cleaned a final time with the recommended solution (some wraps can take a few days so cleaning each section again before application will reduce the chance of dust accumulating on the surfaces).

Part 6

Once the wrap in completed allow the temperature of the room to cool and the vinyl to settle on the vehicle.

Part 7

Return to the wrap the next day and apply hot air to recessed areas and edges of the wrap to check that they have adhered correctly and there is no movement.

Part 8

Refit all removed parts (trims, rubbers, door handles, etc)

The wrap in complete

Our wrap application procedure can take longer than some, however we find it is better overall as there is much less chance of issues occurring so it saves time overall as there should be no repeat visits to replace/redo parts of the wrap.
